Forget Upwork. This is where you should be looking for the best freelance jobs. #3 is the most effective.

The key here is *quality*. We’re not talking about low-paying jobs for the industry or anything scammy.

Where you should be looking for the best freelance jobs:

1. Look on remote freelance job boards

There are a lot of good websites out there that specifically share remote freelance jobs.

2. Search on platforms that share jobs frequently

There are specific social media platforms, groups, and private communities that regularly share vetted freelance jobs. There are also a lot that suck so be discerning about which ones you use! You don't wanna waste your time on groups that aren't helpful.

3. Word of mouth (my favorite!)

Talk to family and friends or previous clients and coworkers- ask if they know of anyone who could use your services. Be clear about what your services and offers are!

Don’t discount this one … you never know who someone may know!

This is my favorite because when someone refers you, you’re way more likely to get a job. After all, that person can speak to your experience, expertise, and about who you are as a person.

Word of mouth is the quickest way to get an “in” for a job.

I have a template for what you can say in my ultimate remote job guide 👍🏼
